Tesco - Shopping for Food

Delicious hot?
AKA Goldfish
Are Flakes unappealing then?
Tesco is basically Walmart. It seems as though they have everything there, which is good considering how close it's located to me. By that I mean it's very close, like less than a ten-minute walk down the road past McDonald's and
KFC to Tesco's automatic doors. It's really great having something that close to where I live. It really is. The walks to campus are so long and somewhat dangerous. Can you tell my feet hurt? Anyways, the grocery cart system is a tad odd because you have to put a pound coin in to get a cart and then when you return the cart you get the pound back. I guess it ensures that their cart supply doesn't diminish, though there are a lot of carts around the Talybont North area. If I'm ever desperate for money I now know what to do. I was happy that I was able to find Chobani Greek yogurt! I also saw the foods I eat at home, though labeled differently. That's globalization for you. My favorite was seeing Goldfish as Finz! They were also doing flu shots there, but they call shots "jabs," which in my opinion is a
better word, as shot sounds more violent compared to jab. I only bought food on this trip though. I have to go back and buy clothes hangers, some type of detergent, maybe a blanket, and some sort of British candy. They also charge you 10 pence if you don't have any bags with you to use their plastic bags, but I feel like they do that in the U.S. in some places as well. Maybe not, I could be wrong. Anyways, it was interesting going in and just seeing everything for sale. In a basic sense, it was an expansion of the UK section in Wegmans, complete with HobNobs.
Your typical, off-brand crackers

Digestive Biscuits, of course!

Do they have McVities ginger nuts? Of course they do. Lucky you. An unending supply as long as the funds hold out. Also, keep an eye out for Wallace and Gromit figures for my collection!
